The marketing for health care and medical technology has a stereotype of appearing staged and lacking genuine emotional resonance. Dexcom, a leader in glucose monitoring for diabetics, wanted to break that mold. To do so, it leveraged a Super Bowl commercial and a community of Dexcom users.
