Megan Den Herder 
Director, Direct Response Fundraising | Wildlife Conservation Society

Megan Den Herder is the Director, Direct Response Fundraising, at Wildlife Conservation Society. Prior to WCS, she was with the National Audubon Society for over three years, where she worked on all things fundraising as the Director, Direct Response Marketing. A conservationist at heart, she also spent five years at The Nature Conservancy where she focused on acquisition, production, and worked on the internal creative team. Before joining the nonprofit space, Megan worked at a trade association in marketing. She's originally from west Michigan and loves the Detroit Tigers, Lake Michigan, and a good hike.

 

Krista Harte Sassaman 
Director, Annual Fund | Friends Committee on National Legislation

Krista Sassaman directs FCNL’s Annual Fund program. She leads a team of four responsible for individual fundraising through direct response channels. Before joining the FCNL team, Krista spent 25 years as a marketing and fundraising consultant, guiding fundraising strategy for a range of nonprofit missions including conservation, arts, human rights, and health care.

Krista serves on the Board of Directors of the Direct Marketing Association of Washington (DMAW) Educational Fund, where she manages the mentorship program which connects marketing students with direct response companies. She also serves as a programming committee member for the Association of National Advertisers’ Nonprofit Conferences in Washington, D.C. and Chicago, and is programming co-chair for the DMAW’s Data Strategy Forum.


Amy English
Group Director | MINDset direct

Amy English, Account Director - Group Director, has worked within the nonprofit industry for more than 20 years. Before joining the Mindset Team she worked for a few well known direct response agencies, most recently CDR Fundraising Group as Associate Director of Client Services.

Throughout her professional career she is proud to have served a numbers of clients including: American Lung Association, ALS, St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, March of Dimes, The Nature Conservancy, Guideposts and United Services Organization (USO).

Supporting some of the most life changing organizations and serving the greater nonprofit community is Amy's passion coupled with the ability to empower teams to do the same has been "truly gratifying."
