Face-to-Face canvassing is no stranger to evolving beyond challenges, even before the onset of the global pandemic. When facing adversity, charities and their agency partners band together to overcome the obstacles and consistently land on the other side in a better place than where they started. This session will feature some of the real life past and present challenges nonprofits, Special Olympics and Children International, and agency partner, New Canvassing Experience, have worked or are working through, and how addressing these problems has helped them push ahead and move both their mission and fundraising goals forward. Through their stories, the session shares the persistent resilience of fundraising's "scrappiest" channel, and how this positive evolution maintains Face-to-Face's reputation as one of the most scalable methods to reach new audiences, acquire sustainable donors, and advance the charity's brand and mission in an organic way.
