ONE, TWO, YOU KNOW WHAT TO DO (AND THEN SOME)

We are pushed to innovate, do more with less, and break the mold (and, by the way, no budget).   The challenge is how to make good stuff stick and be sustainable.   In this session we will explore how to make innovation practical and repeatable, sharing successful examples.  Marketing is more than just fundraising and come to the session thinking how you build belief and create behaviors.

COMMUNITY MANAGEMENT 2.0: THE POWER OF BRAND RELATIONSHIPS

Remember the early days of social media? Connecting with friends was nice, but connecting with celebrities, causes, and brands was truly revolutionary. For the first time in history, consumers had the access and ability to “socialize” with brands, and brands had the opportunity to build life-long “friendships” through customer care. As social has become more and more volatile, many brands have shifted focus from relationship management to crisis management, leaving advocates and champions feeling left behind.

In this session, Michail Takach will share how the American Dental Association, one of the oldest nonprofit organizations in America, has refocused its social strategy on the power of positive relationships.  We’ll explore how the ADA is making sure its 160,000 members feel seen, heard, understood and valued--through concierge-level community management that includes listening, outreach, and content as a service – and how this supports overall brand reputation, member engagement, and business transformation.
