As brands move from experiments and pilots using generative AI to deploying it at scale, we have a responsibility to ensure we do this in an ethical way. But even knowing where to start can feel like a minefield! The session will cover the key areas to consider, including the type of AI policy companies need (and how to write one), the upskilling teams need, and the kinds of tech we build and use.

Rebecca Sykes leads the group’s emergent technology practice and is a trusted partner and advisor to leading brand companies including Unilever, Diageo and L’Oreal.

At The Brandtech Group, Bekki has overseen the implementation of Gen AI at every step of the creative process. Including creating a workable legal framework with clients to review and manage Gen AI tools; prototyping for progressive inclusivity in AI assets; supporting and scaling The Brandtech Group’s 2023 acquisition of Gen AI creative platform Pencil for large multinational enterprises, satisfying those companies’ advanced requirements in terms of brand safety, data security and brand-unique execution.

Tyra Jones-Hurst, Managing Partner at OLIVER

Tyra Jones Hurst plays a key role in OLIVER North America's growth and innovation, driving bold change and pushing boundaries. With a decade of experience collaborating with top brands like Bacardi, Unilever, H&M, P&G, and Loblaws Ltd., she has crafted award-winning campaigns that redefine consumer interaction. In her tenure at OLIVER, Tyra managed the Canadian in-house agency for Unilever and became the youngest member of the Executive Leadership Team, earning recognition with prestigious awards like the Effie and Drum Award.

Beyond her leadership role, Tyra champions inclusive marketing as the founder of InKroud, an agency within OLIVER dedicated to Black and Latiné marketing professionals and is especially passionate about ensuring their involvement within tech innovations like generative AI.

Explore the work of the Content Provenance and Authenticity (C2PA) and its Content Credentials initiative. In this session, experts Adam Buhler and Ray Lansigan will provide background on the standard, the potential impact on brands, and pilots in marketing and advertising setting new benchmarks for digital integrity.

Ray Lansigan, EVP Corporate Strategy, Publicis Groupe

Ray’s remit is to lead Strategy for Publicis Digital Experience – the digital pillar of Publicis Groupe, inclusive of Digitas, Razorfish, as well as specialist agencies and capabilities. He has a dual mandate of grooming the growth posture of the agencies through capability, organizational, and corporate development, as well as guiding clients to realize their own growth potential. Innovation, specifically the application of GenAI to marketing, is also part of his responsibilities. His area of focus is the field of ethics and content provenance. He represents Publicis Groupe on the Steering Committee of the C2PA.

Adam Buhler, EVP Creative Technology, Publicis Groupe

Adam heads Creative Technology for Digitas (part of Publicis Groupe). His role is to explore and deploy emerging technologies for the agency and its clients; painting the future, then making it real.

He is currently leading the largest generative AI project in Publicis, a multi-year, end-to-end AI rewiring of the marketing infrastructure of a Fortune 200 global CPG.
