GREEN/SUSTAINABLE PRODUCTION DAY
From post-production asset recycling to on set recycling, many in the production community have implemented solutions aimed at reducing waste and protecting our environment. Whether you are just getting started or have an established program, this meeting will focus on "going green" and provide you with key takeaways and best practices.

NETWORKING BREAKFAST (9:00–9:45AM)
INTRODUCTIONS (9:45–10:00AM)

I. TARGET: CREATING MEANINGFUL COMMUNITY IMPACT THROUGH PRODUCTION (10:00–11:00AM)
Hollywood and the motion picture industry have a 100+ year history of building amazing things — then simply throwing them away, resulting in millions of tons of waste each year. Television advertisers have contributed their fair share to this dubious legacy as well. Through its Reduce, Re-use, Divert and Donate efforts, Target strives to achieve "zero waste" on every commercial it shoots, and as a result, has set a new industry standard of responsible production for its agencies and production companies. John Lick, co-chair of the ANA Production Management Committee, will share eye-opening statistics, best practices and practical advice on how to produce award–winning commercials while making a meaningful and lasting impact in the communities and the world we all share.

II. BEST PRACTICES IN "GOING GREEN" FROM MAJOR BRANDS (11:15AM–12:15PM)
Going green in your productions is easier than you may think. Hear from Kris Barberg, Executive Director – EcoSet Consulting, as she highlights case studies from six years of ad productions with major brands. By striving for Zero Waste productions and leveraging a sustainable production program's positive impact on local communities, marketing departments can support a brand's overarching environmental and social investment priorities.
