Netflix Reports a Record Number of Subscribers
The streaming giant added a record 18.9 million customers in the fourth quarter of 2024 and looks to boost its advertising offerings in 2025
Netflix added a record 18.9 million customers in the fourth quarter of 2024, according to a shareholder letter released on Tuesday. That's more than double what Wall Street expected and brings global subscribers to more than 300 million. As it seeks to build on momentum this year, the streaming service says a top priority will be to grow its advertising base.
