I. INTRO TO THE MEDIA RATING COUNCIL (2:05 – 2:25 PM)
The Media Rating Council (MRC), the industry's media measurement self-regulatory body, will detail their role in establishing Standards for sound principles to guide measurement of advertising across media channels and their audit function to ensure sound practices by industry measurement organizations. The MRC will also discuss how concepts of data ownership, IVT, privacy and other issues that are intersecting with their work including how they are leading to changes in measurement methods, compliance requirements and the focus of validation efforts.

II. FTC RULEMAKING ON NON-COMPETES (2:25 – 2:45 PM)
The FTC recently proposed a rule that would ban the use of non-compete clauses in employment contracts, which would have dramatic impacts on the employee/employer relationship, the job market, and economy as a whole. Kelley Drye’s Bill MacLeod will discuss what this rule could mean for the industry and, if it were to take effect as-is, what can be done to prepare.

III. FTC HEALTH GUIDES (2:45 – 3:05 PM)
