Coca-Cola Joins Booming Market for Prebiotic Soda
The soda giant says the new line of prebiotic soda supports 'gut health'
Coca-Cola is getting into the booming area of the prebiotic soda market, which is expected to reach $262.2 million by 2024 and $545.5 million by 2034, per Future Market Insights, while taxes on sugary drinks have cut soda sales by roughly a third. The launch is also an effort by Coca-Cola to grab some share from upstarts Olipop and Poppi, which are making a big splash in the market.
