Health Care Working Group

ANA recently set up a Health Care Working Group for our members in the consumer healthcare and pharmaceutical space to share information and best practices in dealing with health-related legislative and regulatory proposals, both federal and state, on privacy and other issues impacting the industry.

Our next meeting will be on May 2, 2024 at 2:00 pm ET, and the agenda is as follows:

1. Recent state privacy legislation
2. Status and potential impact of the American Privacy Rights Act (APRA) recently introduced in Congress
3. The FTC's recent finalization of updates to the Health Breach Notification Rule
4. Advertising tax issues impacting pharma
