Meet and Greet with Refreshments  (9:30 AM - 10:00 AM)

Session 1: NIL Marketing in Context  - (10:00 AM – 10:40 AM) 

This opening session, presented in a talk-show style format, provides an overview of the evolution of NIL marketing. The discussion addresses key questions such as: How did we arrive at this point with NIL marketing? What changes were implemented by the NCAA? When? Why? What is the historical significance of power and control in NIL agreements, and how have athletes from different sports and backgrounds been impacted? This session is co-hosted by Dr. Christina Myers from Michigan State University and Dr. Ed Timke from Advertising & Society Quarterly.

Session 2: Keynote Address on Current NIL Trends   (10:45 AM – 11:05 AM)

A leading NIL marketer delivers a keynote address, providing insights into the current state of NIL marketing, its opportunities, and the challenges that both student athletes, schools, and marketers face. This keynote outlines the latest trends and offer perspectives on how to navigate the ever-evolving NIL environment.

Session 3: The Future of NIL Marketing   (11:10 AM – 12:00 PM)

The final session features the return of the panelists from Session 1 and the keynote speaker who are then joined by two student athletes who currently have NIL agreements in place. Together, they explore the future direction of NIL marketing and provide an open forum for questions and discussion with the audience. This interactive session offers practical advice on where the NIL space is headed and how to best take advantage of emerging opportunities with ethics and equity front and center. 

Closing Remarks Followed by Lunch (12:00 - 1:00 PM)
