ANA Nonprofit Federation Mentorship Program

Whether you're a rising leader or a long-time veteran, the ANA Nonprofit Federation Mentorship Program will add significant value to your professional life. 

The nonprofit community includes some of the greatest minds working on marketing and fundraising results for their organizations. In this program, we pair individuals with a colleague who shares similar experiences within their professional career, creating a 360-degree knowledge and skill exchange to help further develop fundraising interests and expertise.

Mentorship Expectations


The ANA is dedicated to making our programs and communications a safe place for all. To ensure the value and integrity of the ANA Nonprofit Federation Mentorship Program, participants are expected to adhere to the following code of conduct:

  • Engage at the highest level of professionalism to help guide your partner through the landscape of complex decisions. Your mentorship relationship should be one that grows in value as you grow in knowledge and experience.
  • Honor the integrity of your partner by providing constructive feedback that empowers and encourages but does not overtly influence. Discourse is highly encouraged but, as professionals and leaders in the space, that discourse should always be respectful, including with those with whom you may disagree.
  • Identify and respect the uniqueness of your partner's interests and take them seriously while being alert for opportunities and teaching moments.
  • Harassment, intimidation, and inappropriate behavior of any kind will not be tolerated.

Anyone found in violation of this policy will be subject to immediate removal from the mentorship program.
