Sarah Kennedy joined Google in 2020 as the VP of Growth & Demand Generation to help lead global marketing efforts for Google Cloud's $35B+ business unit. She leads global growth marketing, demand generation, marketing operations and experiential marketing driving customer acquisition with large enterprises, small businesses and individual users of Google Cloud. As of 2023, she also supports Google Cloud’s go-to-market strategy in the AI category as well as how Google Marketing is leveraging AI to drive its own growth efforts internally.
Prior to joining Google, Sarah was the Chief Marketing Officer for Adobe Experience Cloud, where her team was responsible for demand-generation, customer marketing, event marketing, partner marketing, marketing technology, marketing operations, and digital marketing globally for Adobe’s $12B enterprise business. She joined Adobe in 2018 through the acquisition of Marketo, where she held the role of Chief Marketing Officer and helped lead the sale of the company to Adobe for $4.75B, the largest acquisition in Adobe's history.
Sarah sits on the President’s Leadership Council, Business School Board of Directors and NIL Advisory Board for Baylor University. She holds a Bachelor of Business Administration from Baylor, and an MBA from the Naveen Jindal School of Business at the University of Texas at Dallas.
